Gov Aliyu directs immediate renovation of ex-President Shagari's burnt house Sokoto State Governor, Dr Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto has directed the total renovation of the first residence of former President Shehu Shagari that was gutted by fire last week.  This was contained in a Press Released signed by Abubakar Bawa,  Press Secretary to Sokoto State Governor.
