City Boy Movement Holds Strategic Meeting in Yola for Tinubu’s '27 Re-election

The City Boy Movement, a group championing the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has held a strategic meeting in Yola to begin aggressive grassroots mobilization across Adamawa State ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Rt Hon. Aliyu Wakili Boya, Esq., State Coordinator of the movement and member representing Fufore/Song Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, hosted the meeting at his Yola residence with state and local government officials.

Boya emphasized that the group’s sole mandate is to deliver massive votes for President Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa. He disclosed that massive mobilization activities will soon commence, reaching every community, village, and polling unit in the state.

“The mandate is for everyone. We are moving to reach out to villages and communities in all parts of the state. No stone will be left unturned, no unit of our dear state will we not touch,” Boya said.

He reminded members that the City Boy Movement operates directly under the watch of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who serves as its Grand Patron, with Seyi Tinubu as Patron.

At the state level, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is the Grand Patron, Comrade Mustapha Salihu is Patron, and Senator Binta Masi Garba is the State Matron.

Boya added that there is no time to waste, revealing that plans are underway to inaugurate officials at state and local government levels, establish offices in all 21 Local Government Areas, and provide logistics and vehicles to support the campaign.

He assured members of adequate support and “packages” to effectively carry the re-election message to all parts of the state.

In attendance, Hon. Abdulmumuni Song, a former lawmaker and APC chieftain, is coordinating the movement’s activities in Song Local Government Area. The Youth Coordinating Director, Mallam Ahmed Marafa, commended Boya for his leadership and commitment.

Marafa and other members described Boya as one of the outstanding federal lawmakers in the country, citing his giant strides in infrastructure development, sponsorship of bills, education, youth empowerment, and health facilities in his constituency.

The officials called on all members to remain focused and avoid any distractions as the journey toward 2027 begins in earnest.
