Kagarko LG Chairman Urges Koro People To Embrace Culture of Unity, Tolerance 

The  Chairman of Kagarko Local area of  Kaduna State, Honourable Muhuyideen  Umar has urged  the Koro people to embrace culture of unity and tolerance in order to achieve sustainable growth and development in their communities.

According to him, the importance of peace; unity and tolerance cannot be overemphasized considering its pivotal  role in driving progress and development across all spheres of life .

The Chairman, who served as the Chief Host at this year's Koro Cultural Day Festival said the annual ceremony is organized to showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Koro people.

Honourable Muhuyideen, who stated this in his brief remarks during the Koro Day Cultural Festival at Government Secondary School, Kubacha on Saturday,promised to support the Koro people anytime there is need for collaborative efforts to ensure development.

While reiterating the importance of peace as a panacea for development,he stressed ,"Let us value unity, tolerance and mutual respect. We cannot have development if we don't live in peace, we cannot live in peace if we are not united. We cannot be united if we don't love one another. We can only love one another if we understand our differences and tolerate one another"

He however, thanked  Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani for redeeming his electoral promises to the good people of Kagarko Local Government Area. 

Fielding questions from journalists about sustaining the annual Festival, the Chairman said there would no cause for alarm about funds to ensure that next year 's event becomes better than the  maiden edition.
