Shehu Sani Rejects Miss World Appointment 
The former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District has rejected the appointment to serve as a  judge in the forthcoming Miss World Nigeria Beauty Pageant contest scheduled to hold at Federal Palace Hotel,Lagos tomorrow.

The organiser of the event, Senator Ben Bruce, who is Shehu Sani's friend and former colleague during the 8th Senate had  posted via his official social media handle: "Hearty congratulations to my good friend, Shehu Sani, on his
appointment as a judge for the Miss World Nigeria Beauty Pageant, taking place on April 4th, 2025, at the Federal Palace Hotel. Kindly ensure you arrive
on time; 6:00 PM sharp. And
come dressed in your finest
attire".

But in a swift response, Shehu Sani ,who  declined the invitation thanked him for the honour and gave  the following reasons for rejecting the  appointment:

"My wives will not be happy if I serve as a Judge. 

"I have not been able to pass judgement on the most beautiful between my wives talkless of those I don’t know. 

"I don’t have the knowledge or experience in such events. 

"This is Sallah period where we spend time with family members and friends. 

"Thank you for the honor and wish them well."

He however, apologized for the inconvenience the rejection might have caused Senator Ben Bruce and other organizers .
