ABURE SACK A RELIEF FOR NIGERIANS, NOT JUST LABOUR PARTY

No doubt, former chairman of Labour Party (LP), Barr. Julius Abure was a total disaster to not just LP as a party but to Nigeria as a whole, for his disservice to LP, amongst which led the party to lose 2023 general elections, which we should have won.

Nigeria put their hope in LP in 2023 because they for see what we are going through today in our country and never wanted what we are experiencing now to happen to Nigeria, but because of Mr. Abure's greed, high level of corruption, illegality, and blatant abuse of law, the LP turned to a laughing stuck among good people of Nigeria who put their hope in our great party.

It's of note that we revived Labour party in 2022 to position it to win general elections in 2023 so as to turn our country back from the wrong way APC as a party has been driving the nation. So we can make a real change not the type of corrupt hope APC called renewed hope; which today Nigerians can see as renewed hunger, renewed insecurity, renewed corruption, renewed incompetence, renewed oppression, renewed dictatorship,  renewed greed and renewed poverty in the land. Nigerian people are now impoverished worse than they APC met Nigerian.

Abure's greed started immediately from the day of the presidential primary in Asaba where the Abure led exco started selling the tickets of the party not just for competent members but for highest bidders, throwing out the windows of decency, competency, compassion, and patriotism. He (Abure) turned the party to money-making body instead of quality leader making organization that will drive the ship of our nation to success. Thus, the party broke into pieces, and the center could not hold from 2023 to date. 

Every effort to reposition the party failed. Many great leaders of the party were suspended to suit Abure's greed. And the illegalities went on uncautioned and uncontrollably bad. But today, the law of the land has caught up with him.

We can not also blame Abure alone in isolation without Mr Peter Obi sharing in this blame who saw Abure's illegality, abuse of law, abuse of power, greed, corruption and looked away from a man who claimed to be upright and wants to make a change and rid Nigeria of corruption, greed and illegality but saw one under his watch and looked away.

My Advice to my fellow leaders and members of Labour Party now is for all of us to come together and let's start the process of regrouping  and repositioning of our party towards 2027 for a New Nigeria we all desire and a Nigeria we desire void of tribalism, favoritism, ethnicity and, incompetence. 

Our nation supposed to be the envy of the world, but it's no longer one: our country currency is on a free fall with no value around the world, our economy is in shackles with high level of corruption and no good government policies to address many problems facing Nigerian people. There is assault to Democracy in our nation with assault on freedom of speech, freedom of association, freedom to speak as opposition; which are all element of a democratic nation.

Many of our youths are rendered useless in a nation that is supposed to harness the potential of the youths as a workforce in the nation. Our educational system is a mirage. Our security is a joke, and poverty ravages the land. 

Therefore, we must come together as a party for Nigerians to have hope again that hope is ahead and help is ahead for this country. We must come together and put behind us all the crisis Abure brought to the party and form one big umbrella that will rescue Nigeria from this mess we find ourselves today, as i say all the time, "A nation that has everything but lacks everything".
We can do it we can make a change in our nation,  we can deliver the people.
