Former Kaduna Deputy Speaker,Rt. Hon. Nuhu Goroh Shadalafiya has mourned the passing away of former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory,  Lt. Gen. Jeremiah Timbut Useni (retd.), who has died at the age of 82 after a protracted illness.

The former lawmaker and Current Chairman, Legislative Service Commission, Kaduna State described Gen. Useni’s passing as a significant loss to his family, the Nigerian Armed Forces, Plateau State, and the entire country.

According to Shadalafiya, the late General provided a nurturing environment, filled with wisdom, patience, and understanding. Noting , " Your presence was a constant source of comfort, reassurance, and strength."

Rt. Hon. Goroh Shadalafiya, who stated this in a statement titled: "To a Selfless Icon, Lt. Gen .Dr.Chiet JT Useni" , acknowledge his uncommon leadership prowess and capacity, recalling that as a leader, he inspired people to strive for excellence and  values of compassion, integrity, and kindness.
