IBEKWE CONGRATULATES CHINEDU ON HIS APPOINTMENT AS ACTING NATIONAL CHAIRMAN OF NRM
Abia State Chairman of the National Rescue Movement (NRM) who also doubles as Abia State IPAC Publicity Secretary, Kenrry C. O. Ibekwe, PhD has extended congratulatory message on behalf of the state to Prince Dr. Chinedu Obi, (Ohamadike), on his appointment as the Acting National Chairman of the party (NRM) and other national officers appointed along side with him in acting capacity to occupy the vacant positions of suspended party members and members that are no more.
"On behalf of the entire great people of Abia State NRM, I extend our congratulatory good wishes to our great Chairman, other newly appointed leaders in acting capacity with all the great leaders and members of our great party.
"There is no true member of the party that will not be proud of the January 27, 2025 NEC meeting that produced these new leaders to join other loyal leaders of the party, as not only that INEC was physically present to monitor the process, IPAC too sent delegates to monitor and we had over 95% attendance of all NRM leadership based on the record of the current INEC verification exercise".
Ibekwe who was also the party senatorial candidate for Abia Central Senatorial Zone, during 2023 general election, assures the party leadership of winning elective position by 2027. "One thing the exco and members of NRM Abia State will assure of, is that we will not only continue to make NRM nationwide proud, but come 2027 general elections, we will deliver some powerful elective positions at different levels to the party. This we are committed to doing and urge the national leadership of the party to continue to give us needed support as we play our part".
In the same vein he commends the Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Chioma Otti, for the good work "he is doing in the state and assures the governor of maximum support for a new and better Abia which is possible", he concludes.
