Supreme Court: Okun Journalists Forum Joins Kogites To Celebrate Gov Ododo's Victory

Okun Journalists Forum, (OJF), has congratulated the governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ododo on Supreme court Ruling, affirming his victory as the winner of November 2023 Governorship election.

The Forum, which is the Umbrella body of practicing Journalists of Okun extraction of Kogi state origin in Kaduna state, with a mission to contribute to development and progress of their State.

In a Statement signed by its Chairman and Secretary Chief Olu Ajayi and Alhaji AbdulRaheem Aodu respectively, said, the victory of the Governor is a clear indication of his widely acceptance by the people of Kogi State.

According to the Statement, the Forum implored the Governor to see his victory at the Supreme court as victory for all, therefore called on the Governor to accept all Kogites as his subjects and deliver the dividends of democracy to all and sundry as he has already started, and to carry everyone along irrespective of party differences.

As a conglomeration of Journalists from different media outlets, the Forum therefore promised to partner with the Governor in disseminating the laudable achievement of the State Government under his administration to the entire Nation .

" We joined the Governor to condemn the recent attack on the SDP candidate Mr Muri Ajaka by hoodlums at the Supreme court in Abuja "

" We call on the SDP candidate, Muri Ajaka to join the State governor in  moving the State forward "

" We also urge the Governor to see the entire State as his  constituency in time of delivering the dividend of Democracy." the  Chairman said.
