The Acting National President of Nigeria Union of Agriculture and Allied Employees (NUAAE), Comrade Ekpo, A.E has warned the general public to desist from dealing with Comrade Simeon M. Anchaver who is on indefinite suspension over misappropriation and mismanagement of the Organization resources. 

This is contained in a communique signed by the President, Cmr. Ekpo and the Acting National Secretary, Cmr. Com. Chapi P. E and made available to Newsmen in Abuja on Wednesday.

The communique reads " this is to inform the General Public, Individuals and Organisations dealing or partnering with the Nigeria Union of Agriculture and Allied Employees (NUAAE) to be aware that Comrade Simeon M. Anchaver who parades himself and sign documents as National President of the Nigeria Union of Agriculture and Allied Employees has been on indefinite suspension from office with effect from 5th December 2021 due to mismanagement, misappropriation, fraud, embezzlement of union’s funds and abuse of office.

"Consequently, Com Ekpo, A.E, Deputy National President and Com  Obafemi Oyenub National Treasurer were appointed as Acting National President and National Treasurer respectively. While Com. Chapi P. E who was the Deputy General Secretary was appointed Acting General Secretary of the Organization. 

According to the communique Com Anchaver had challenged his suspension at the National Industrial Court in Suit No: NICN/ABJ/72/2022 which was struck out on the 17th January, 2023.

"In the interest of good governance and integrity, the general public, individuals and organisations are advised not to recognize him as National President of the Nigeria Union of Agriculture and Allied Employees to avoid fraudulent engagement or aiding operations." 

The communique added that the Public can seek media inquiries or contact Com Ekpo, A.E, Ag National President (08052270560), Com  Obafemi Oyenubi (08023411451),  National Treasurer and Com Chapi P. E,  Ag. General Secretary (07065257175; 08035075840) for further clarification.
