Tinubu, Shettima, a Perfect Pair- Dr Suleiman Umar

By Adamu Bature, Kaduna

Dr. Suleiman Umar, Director Monitoring and Evaluation at the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) Adamawa State, has congratulated Nigerians on the unequivocal election of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima  as President and Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He said, "It is a victory for all where Nigerians voted out religious, sectional and tribal bigotry. Their emergence is the best thing to happen to our country at this point in view of its urgent socioeconomic development needs."

He added, "They have both passed the litmus test in the private sector and the public service over the past four decades."

The ex-banker and politician who doubles as the Coordinator in charge of Security and Intelligence for the PCC in the state also said the duo are capable of harnessing the potentials of the country and adding value to its immense resources.

According to him, their variegated experience spanning banking, finance, oil and gas as well as top executive and legislative political posts makes Tinubu and Shettima the best team to tackle the tons of bottlenecks stopping Nigerians from enjoying their enormous endowments.

Dr. Umar, who holds a PhD degree in Agricultural Economics with specialisation in International Trade, said Nigerians will be astonished with the transformation that the country would witness in the next four years.

He called on the 17 co-contenders in the February 25th presidential polls to consider the race over and join hands as patriots to restore peace, progress and prosperity to the nation.

“Government is humongous with room for all political stakeholders committed to contributing to national development. Political contests last a few months but statesmanship must go on forever,“ he stated.
