A week ahead of the governorship and state assembly elections across Nigeria,  group under aegis of  Makarfi Ambassadors has called on good  Kaduna citizens, especially the electorate of  Southern Kaduna to vote the main opposition party People's Democratic Party across board .

According to the group, to defeat the ruling party, All Progressives Congress, all hands must be accountability on deck to ensure that members of Labour Party work together with those of the PDP in southern Kaduna to  vote massively  for  Hon. Isa Ashiru Kudan and his running mate Dr. John Ayuba during the governorship election next week Saturday, March 11.

While revealing that PDP has already won all the three Senatorial seats and has ten members of Federal House of Representatives out of sixteen ,to consolidate on this feat we have to claim the Governorship seat, it said "the deceptive political theory of Muslim/Muslim tickets trending Kaduna state by the ruling party (APC) on the forthcoming Governorship Election is unfortunate, self-centered, and retrogressive - undoubtedly; this agenda has failed because, people are more enlightened and have reject the non-friendly call".

The group which stated this in a statement jointly signed by Mr. Abdullhi Ahmed, the Coordinator, General-Matters and Engr. Bolade Aina, Coordinator Planning/Strategy, appealed to the Obidients in  Zone three to align with the PDP to defeat APC come Saturday,March 11.

The group that declared a vote of confidence on its  Coordinator,  Hon. Abdullahi Ahmed said , "In bid to ensure victory during the elections , the Makarfi Ambassadors have mobilised teams of vote canvasers to the nooks and crannies of the twenty three local government areas of the State .

The statement further reads:"We have done all the ground work to get votes in Zone One and Zoon  Two .The problem we have is in Zone three,a PDP strong being threatened by Labour Party.We therefore appealed to our brothers and friends in southern to consider joining the PDP in the battle to send the ruling party,All Progressives Congress out of power in the state .

"We must not take chances of splitting our votes, because of the Labour Party and  its candidate ,Hon. Jonathan Asake,who is our friend and brother. We understand his level of sacrifice and concerns,but we are saying at the moment ,to defeat Senator Uba Sani of APC , PDP and Labour Party must form alliance to achieve desired  victory.

"If PDP wins the elections , we strongly  believe with Hon. John Ayuba from Southern Kaduna extraction , the much desired development  needs of southern Kaduna would properly addressed. 

"We also appeal to the vibrant youths of southern Kaduna to understanding to need to fight a common enemy that have failed to secure Kaduna over the past seven years .

"The PDP had and will always prioritise the need to sustain good rapport and partnership with southern in the areas of peace and development ."

While asking the Southern Kaduna people to remember how former Governor Makarfi created Development Areas for purposes of rural development; creating opportunities for appointments and employment generation of the  teeming youths and Women. 

The group equally reminded Kaduna citizens about  how Governor Nasir El-Rufai led government, disorganized the traditional institutions in the state; threatened unity of the People, issues of banditry and other forms of insecurity . 

"We are again beginning Labour Party to join forces with the main opposition party PDP to rescue Kaduna from the hands of dictators .
