Tinubu Hiding Under Campaign to Attack Buhari's Administration Must Stop -APC Group Warns

Group under umbrella of Concern All Progressives Congress Movement, northerner region have cautioned the candidate of their party , Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his recent attacks and other hidden moves to disassociate himself from President Muhammadu Buhari administration.

According to the group , Tinubu has allegedly used campaign venues and meetings as means to discredit APC's government.

The group in a statement signed  by its leader,Comrade Hassan Aliyu, said it shocking that the APC Presidential  Flagbearer,  Tinubu from the primary election till date has  been attacking Buhari and his policies.

"We would not be surprised if it is the same Tinubu that is sponsoring Northern youths to protest over  the policy of naira note and also the removal of the CBN Governor, Knowing fully that he is acting under the instructions of Mr President.

"On several occasions during his consultation and campaign trips, he called out President Muhammadu Buhari over failure to win election  and bad governance .

"In fact , at a point he claimed ,he was behind Buhari victory during the 2015 presidential election.And most recently, he  blamed Buhari for fuel scarcity and change of new naira notes ,which according to him, are directly plans to scuttle his chances to win the 2023 elections .

"Tinubu, at the party’s presidential campaign rally in Calabar, Cross River State, slammed  Buhari-led federal government over the depreciation of the nation’s currency.

According to Tinubu, when the government took over, the naira/dollar exchange rate was about N200 to a dollar, but it has depreciated to about N800 to the dollar on the parallel market

In Abeokuta, Ogun State, he had attacked the federal government for the lingering fuel scarcity in the country as well as the naira redesign project which the Central Bank of Nigeria carried out with the approval of President Muhammadu Buhari.

"We are shocked that Tinubu in his desperate move to become President  has suddenly become a saint talking against everyone in and out of government .We recalled vividly in September 2006, when then EFCC Chairman, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu appeared before the Senate on a report the agency . He clearly mentioned five Governors as the worst thieving Governors and he , Tinubu was notably mentioned .

"We also  remembered how Ribadu  specially narrated the wicked stealing patterns of Tinubu as the then Governor of Lagos State. According to Ribadu's report , Tinubu's  stealing had an international dimension to it. He berated Tinubu then for being a big thief. 

"Prof. Yemi Osinbajo was his Commissioner of Justice and Attorney General then and I can't remember if they sued EFCC or Ribadu for those expressions/exposures beside the press statement of not being surprised by Mr. Dele Alake, Tinubu's then Commissioner for Information and Strategy.

Ironically, all the five plus Nuhu Ribadu are very active and influential members of the APC which now derive pleasure in calling any other person outside the party a thieves.

We would not tolerate any further attack on President Muhammadu Buhari and his committed drive to recreate a robust image for Nigeria before he leave office come May 29,2023.
