APC Group Blasts El-Rufai Over Allegations of Aso Rock  Fifth Columnists 

Group under umbrella of Concerned All Progressives Congress (Movement , Northern Region has called out Kaduna State Governor,Mal. Nasir El-Rufai for his negative comments over the allegations  of "Elements in Aso who want APC to lose election".

According to the group, El-Rufai's claim that powerful forces are working against the political interests of the APC is not only false and  unfounded,but also a thought from figment of imagination.

The apparently angry APC group also saod, "It's  grossly unfortunate that he claimed that certain unnamed individuals in the presidency do not want APC presidential standard bearer Asiwaju Bola Tinubu  to win the February 25 poll, but couldn't  mention names .

"In fact, if there is any element working against the interest APC Flagbearer ,it is El-Rufai and his cohorts ,who have worked to destroy the party with their selfish and inhumane approach to governance over the past seven years."

The group which stated this in a press statement titled: " El-Rufai's  Insane and Unfounded vituperation" said,it is not surprised that such repulsive statements is coming up from Governor El-Rufai ,who has penchant for character assassination of his principals.

The statement signed by Leader of the group, Comrade Hassan Aliyu further reads :"He  did  same to Former President Olusegun Obasanjo ,he did it  to Vice President Atiku Abubakar. So, for us  challenging Buhari publicly is a confirmation that it's habitual for him to bite the finger that feeds him . 

"It is no longer news that whoever backed him to achieve anything politically, he later betrayed as a payback .President Buhari helped him to become Governor and now the only way to pay back is to undermine him and members of his cabinet .

"We now understand why Former President Obasanjo in his book:  MY WATCH, Vol 2 was quoted to have said, "Nasir’s penchant for reputation savaging is almost pathological. Why does he do it? I recognised his weaknesses; the worst being his inability to be loyal to anybody or any issue consistently for long, but only to Nasir el-Rufai.

“He barefacedly lied which he did to me against his colleagues and so-called friends".

While calling on all APC members across Nigeria to rise against El-Rufai's attempt to undermine Buhari ,the group vowed,

"We are ready to mobilise the youths, women and other members of the party to stop El-Rufai and his cohorts from destroying APC ahead of the 2023 presidential elections."

Though,  acknowledged that there some challenges in the areas of security and economy, it said one truth that must be told," President Muhammadu Buhari led APC government has done so much to better lives of  Nigerians."

"We  also want El-Rufai to know that if President could defeat an incumbent to become a president, nothing bad or wrong in allowing a free and fair election to hold .

"Rather than cast aspersions or point accusing fingers on the Buhari's cabinet members ,he should join hands with Tinubu and Shettima to sell the party to Nigerians ,who will do the voting ."
